The redevelopment of the former 1960’s shopping centre at Kennedy Way in Immingham is anchored by a new 30,000 square feet retail store, which is part of the regeneration of Immingham Town Centre. The development includes new stores for Poundstretcher and B&M Retail, together with two additional retail units and over 300 car parking spaces, all designed to provide a new retail destination for the Humberside Town.

Solution:Positive was appointed as Building Services and Utilities Consultants, which included the development of a strategy to service the new development and the procurement of utility services.
Key Challenge: As part of there development existing highways and road-traffic junctions were realigned to accommodate the increased volume of traffic, which required the extensive diversion of existing utility services.
Solution:Positive developed detailed proposals and coordinated the relocation of existing utilities with the utilities operators whose assets were affected.
